This is something we like to call Givertising??? It???s basically advertising for the greater good! You see, just like any new company, we need to spend money on advertising to let people know about our platform and how they can use it. So, we thought, why not instead make it fun for awesome people (like you) to introduce Fotition to your family, friends, fans, and followers and give those advertising dollars to a charity of your choice as a thank you ?????hence the name, Givertising???.
You???ll be happy to know that 100% of the money raised by your campaign will go directly to the charity of your choice. And you???ll even receive a confirmation once the charity receives their donations.
The donations are not tax deductible because the people posting the photos are not actually making the donation. They are just unlocking donations made by us to the charity.
Your campaign will run for 60 days, or until you???ve reached your goal, which ever comes first.
Each person (including you) can post just one photo to support your campaign.
You will get a link to your own custom campaign page, which you can share on your social pages and send to people via email, text, or carrier pigeon (please let us know if you do this). You can also send people your campaign video, and use your campaign sign so they know where to go to show support. We will also send you a pack of complimentary campaign cards that you can give to people to promote your campaign.
You will get your own custom campaign page and URL, which will live on the Fotition website and also inside the Fotition apps, which are available for iPhone and Android.
Your campaign will cost you absolutely nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch! Also, we do not take your credit card or bank information and you will not receive any surprise charges or bills. The only thing you will end up spending is the time you want invest to promote your campaign.
No and No! First of all, that would be illegal. Second, we don???t ever want to be knows as one of ???those??? companies! We only use information collected on our platform to communicate with our users and provide them with information about the campaigns they support.
This is totally optional. However, this helps to give us a better understanding as to the type of reach you have on social media and also a sense of your personality, which will help us to create a campaign to amplify that personality.
We thought that might get your attention. In order to make your FUNdraising experience even more awesome and give you a little extra incentive to go out and promote your campaign, we decided to award prizes based on the number of photos posted to your campaign.
50 - 100 photos = You win a $10 Amazon gift card
101 - 200 photos = You win a $25 Amazon gift card
201 - 300 photos = You win a $50 Amazon gift card
301 - 400 photos = You win a $75 Amazon gift card
401 - 500 photos = You win a $150 Amazon gift card
How awesome is that?!
That???s pretty much it! We will design fun overlays for the photos that people will be posting to support your campaign and we???ll even create a campaign poster and campaign graphics for you to use for promoting your campaign. Our designers will make you look GOOD!
Absolutely! However, we only allow people to run one campaign at a time.
Absolutely! Once you create your free Fotition account you can support as many of our awesome campaigns as you like regardless of whether you???re running your own campaign or not.
